Location
Our 125-acre Richland campus in Southwest Michigan provides a peaceful, natural setting for your retreat. Located at 6701 Alongside Lane, Richland, Michigan 49083, this campus is only 8 miles from downtown Kalamazoo.

Accommodations
During your stay at Alongside, you will enjoy your own private accommodations. Each guest house has five private suites. Each suite features a king bed, a well-stocked kitchenette, a full bath and a sitting area. Because meals are not provided, each suite is equipped with appliances, cookware, cooking utensils and tableware to make food preparation as convenient as possible. You will also have access to laundry facilities, cleaning supplies and a shared community space.
Family suites include bunk beds for the kids, age-appropriate toys, a full bath for each bedroom, laundry facilities and a full kitchen. Pack n plays and highchairs are available.

- Grocery stores like Meijer, Aldi and Walmart are easily accessible in under 10 minutes. Costco Trader Joe’s and Sam’s Club are less than a 30-minute drive away.

Open seasonally; offers a variety of farm activities and games, a 5-acre corn maze, and special events.
Brookside Farms
Open seasonally; multiple locations; a family farm offering a variety of u-pick produce including blueberries.

A world-class, Smithsonian-affiliated aerospace and science museum with over 100 air and space artifacts, interactive exhibits, full-motion flight simulators, and indoor amusement park rides.
Kalamazoo Valley Museum
A free, interactive museum focused on local history.

A multi-purpose trail for non-motorized transportation and recreation. It’s currently 24 miles in length.

Easy-access to Lake Michigan, although there are many places you can find a quiet beach along the coast.

Transportation
Airports:
If you are flying, we offer transportation to our campus from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (10 miles) or the Gerald R. Ford International Airport (Grand Rapids, 44 miles). We can help arrange a shuttle from the airport to Alongside.
Automobiles:
For those without vehicles, we have cars that you can use for a reasonable mileage fee.
