Rachael is an adult missionary kid who grew up in seven countries around the globe. She graduated from the University College of Utrecht in The Netherlands, with a B.S. in Psychology. She gained her doctorate in clinical psychology from Wheaton College in May, 2016. With a passion for Third Culture Kids, her dissertation focused on a program initiative for college aged TCKs. Her clinical experiences are broad, but cluster around serving the underserved in community mental health settings housed within major medical centers in Chicago and most recently in Long Island, New York (she completed her APA approved doctoral internship at the Nassau University Medical Center). Rachael loves emotion focused techniques and psychodynamic theory.
