Retreat Location

Alongside is located on beautiful Gull Lake near Kalamazoo, Michigan.  This picturesque setting is refreshing and relaxing, a sanctuary from the hectic pace of ministry where our guests can rest and reflect upon their identity, their work, and their calling.  We utilize the facilities of Gull Lake Ministries, a Christian family camp located on the southern end of Gull Lake, for both our counseling center and our guest accommodations.

From U.S. 131

US 131 to exit 49A, (Plainwell/M-89).  East on M-89 through Plainwell to junction M-43 (11.4 miles).  Right (south) to the town of Richland (1 mile).  Traffic light, turn left (east) on M-89 to 40th Street (4 miles).  Left (north) on 40th street to C Avenue (1.2 miles).  Left (west) to 4-way stop sign (.4 of a mile).  Through stop sign then immediate right on Midland Drive (note Bible Conference directional signs).  Stay on Burlington Drive as it angles to the left until two blocks past Tabernacle (big building).  Turn left on Norris and immediate left again on Snyder Drive. Our office (registration) is Judea Cottage, 2608 Snyder Drive.

From I-94, Exit 92

I-94 to exit 92 - Climax.  North to Hill Brady Road (2.9 miles-second traffic light).  Left at traffic light to Dickman Road/M-96 (2.1 miles).  Left (west) to Augusta (4.1 miles). Right at Shell Station, Webster/42nd Street, to M-89 (2.8 miles).  Left (west) to 40th Street (.8 of a mile).  Right (north) to C Avenue (1.2 miles).  Left (west) to 4-way stop sign (.4 of a mile).  Through stop sign then immediate right on Midland Drive (note Bible Conference directional signs).  Stay on Burlington Drive as it angles to the left until two blocks past Tabernacle (big building).  Turn left on Norris and immediate left again on Snyder Drive.  Our office (registration) is Judea Cottage, 2608 Snyder Drive.
